Explicit Model Predictive based Fault Tolerant Control for Turboshaft Engine System

In order to tackle the faults of turboshaft engine-rotor systems and real time implementation difficulty traditional model predictive control methods, an explicit (EMPC) fault-tolerant algorithm is designed based on active scheme that implicitly detects adjusts law online. The proposed can achieve good command tracking performance and, at same time, guarantee limit protection system. Firstly, start with algorithm, a dynamic system library fault monitoring mechanism are established, in which contains sets piecewise affine models (PWA) normal engine mode modes faults. Secondly, EMPC controller derived for each sub-model library. Through transformation derivation system, solution its obtained. With form state feedback partition, gains be off-line. Finally, online process completed by searching corresponding gain state, improves real-time effectiveness method modeled or un-modeled compressor robustness verified simulations.
